For all those that haven’t tried Sri Lankan black fish curry (also known as Fish Ambulthiyal), this is a Sri lankan staple! This curry powder will allow you to produce a seriously distinctive fish curry….spicy, rich and tangy, with a “black” colour and slightly sour flavour, through the unique addition of Goraka into a blend of 9 other herbs & spices. For best results definitely use Tuna steaks and our signature recipe on our tin! It’s simple using our spice blends to produce authentic Sri Lankan dishes with ease!
This curry powder is the brainchild of my mum - her very own special blend of 10 herbs & spices, roasted & ground by hand. This curry powder can be used with any fish or seafood curry recipe, and comes complete with our signature black fish curry recipe.

Store in a cool dry place. 12 months best before - see back of tin.
